Registration for travel tryouts will close Sept. 21 and travel tryout times will be announced no later than Sept. 23.
TRAVEL SEASON
- Season runs from November - March
- A full MetroWest regular season has 12 games followed by playoffs
- 6 home games & 6 games at opponent gym.
- Games played mostly on Sundays (some late Saturday games possible)
- Practices are weekday nights 2 times per week
TRYOUT INFORMATION
Tryouts are FREE; registration by September 21st is required. Click the "REGISTER" button on the top of the page
- Tryout dates are September 26th - 28th & October 2nd, 3rd, and 5th; Time ranging from 5-9pm
- Location: Coakley Middle School
- Specific tryout days & times for each grades will be announced by September 23rd
- There will be two tryout dates to attend.Players need to make it to at least one tryout.
- Travel team placement decisions could be based on prior year’s coach’s/coordinators feedback.
- FINAL TEAMS WILL BE POSTED TO THE WEBSITE BY SUNDAY OCTOBER 15TH.
Participation is for girls and boys each with teams in grades 4-8. The number of teams at each grade will depend on tryout attendance and interest as well as the ability to find a coach. The hope is for two teams at each grade but there is no guarantee.
Fee for travel is $250/player with a family maximum of $500. Uniforms for first time players are paid for by NBA. Players will not pay until teams are formed but must pay prior to first practice. Those participants selected for teams will receive payment instructions. Any player with a past due balance will need to pay prior to tryouts.
IN- TOWN
Start date: Saturday, Dec. 2nd at the Savage and Coakley gyms.
Note: Sessions will not be held on Dec. 23rd and Dec 30th. The final session for programs will be Feb. 24th.
- Players in grades K-2 will work on skills and drills and short scrimmages at the end of their sessions.
- Players in grades 3-6 will be placed on teams after the first week and play games each week.
- Players in grades 3-6 will also be offered the opportunity to attend a few weeknight skill sessions run by travel coaches with dates/times TBA.
Player Fee is $70
