Norwood Basketball 6th-8th Grade 3 on 3 League

Starting January 9th, on Fridays at the Coakley Middle School in Norwood, players will have the opportunity to match up against other competitors their age for an hour of fun and competition. Registration is open for Norwood youth residents, girls and boys, grades 6th, 7th and 8th . Do not hesitate, sign up now before registration closes.

3v3 basketball is a fast-paced, high-energy game that emphasizes movement, spacing, and teamwork. With more touches, quicker decisions, and constant action, players develop court awareness, creativity, and cooperative play, building essential skills in a fun and competitive environment.

League Structure and Game Night:
*1 hour for boys play; 1 hour for girls play. (Games will be between 6:15-9:00 pm and a schedule will be based upon registration numbers)
*League will be monitored and supervised by NBA Coaches and/or Board Members.
* Upon arrival, players will be checked-in by a NBA coach or board member, and assigned to a team each session.
*Every player will be assigned to a team and is promised significant playing time.
*Teams will be created and matched up differently each week.

Player Registration:
Players should be registered individually. Go to the Norwood Basketball Website and login to your account to register for the program.
*Introductory Registration fee is $25 per player. This fee includes league play and a 3v3 reversable pinnie to be worn during games. Fees will not be refunded after the season begins. (Fee is waived for travel players)
*Registration information will be used to check players in before play. If you have not registered and paid the $25 fee, your child will not be able to participate.
