Regis College Women’s Basketball Camp

The Regis College Women's Basketball Camp is pleased to announce that it will be holding its 3rd Annual Summer Basketball Camp at Regis College August 11-15, 2008. The camp is open to all girls entering grades 4-12. Regis College is a state of the art facility with air conditioning, locker rooms, swimming pool, and ample parking. The camp director is Julie Plant, Head Coach of the Regis College Women's Basketball team. Coach Plant is preparing for her fourth year at Regis and brings a wealth of talent and experience to the camp. A 2000 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, she led the team to the National Championship game in 1998 and 2000 and posted an amazing 105-17 record as a player. Julie was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. Previous to Regis College, Coach Plant worked as an advance scout for the WNBA's New York Liberty and was an assistant coach at University of Rhode Island and Glendale Community College.
 
Sarah Behn Girls Basketball Camp

"As we begin our 14th year, I am proud to announce that we have the most successful girls' basketball camp in New England. We have enjoyed coaching over 17,000 campers since we started our program in 1994. The popularity of our programs speaks volumes to the hard work and dedication of our staff. Each year we are thrilled to see the individual development of our campers; so many of our young basketball players have gone on to play at the junior varsity, varsity, and even the collegiate level. New this year - each camper will receive a 15-minute private session with a staff member during the week. We are looking forward to our best year yet!" Sarah Behn

Stonehill Sports Camps

Stonehill College runs a variety of summer camps on campus, including basketball and most of the major sports. A day camp and night camp, held different weeks, both focus on the fundamentals of the game. Players will improve their individual skills and knowledge of all aspects of the game. Each week will include progressive fundamental skills twice daily, guest lectures by some of the top high school and college coaches in the area, 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 tournaments, games and individual instruction. The Stonehill Girls Basketball Camp is under the direction of Trish Brown, Head Women's Basketball Coach at Stonehill College. The Stonehill Boys Basketball Camp is under the direction of Dave McLaughlin, Head Men's Basketball Coach at Stonehill College. Each camp employs a variety of qualified coaches and collegiate players that provide first class instruction to each and every camper.
